<chocopuff> hey, whats the main difference between a guide and a tutorial?
<chocopuff> i was thinking about writing a few articles for the wiki
<chocopuff> for instance, i recently managed to try out 2bwm on nixos, a wm that requires configuration by modifying C header files. on nixos, i used the patches option in stdenv.mkDerivation to apply my patches to the 2bwm package
<chocopuff> i would probably talk about how i made the patch, applied it, and then overrode the default package
<chocopuff> would this belong in a guide or tutorial
