<nixoswikibot> [[NixOS on ARM/PINE64 Pinebook Pro]] M https://nixos.wiki/index.php?diff=3837&oldid=3729&rcid=3927 * Fadenb * (+137) added mod4+shift+cursor note
<nixoswikibot> [[Backlight]] https://nixos.wiki/index.php?diff=3838&oldid=3321&rcid=3928 * Fadenb * (-99) Update `light` instructions
<samueldr> fadenb: did you try the updated jackhumbert firmware?
<samueldr> SUPER+arrows (without shift) is accidentally caught up in the OEM firmware by the privacy key handling code
<samueldr> :o, turns out I never pushed those changes
<samueldr> the last "flash-kb-revised" command should be all you need here https://github.com/samueldr/wip-pinebook-pro#keyboard-firmware
<samueldr> some additional notes: that user (jackhumbert) is author of the QMK keyboard firmware, and he's working on making a fully open source version
<samueldr> like, working hard and making good progress
<fadenb> Ah, nice, good to know
<fadenb> Currently building new kernel before I leave for FOSDEM
<samueldr> that updated firmware *does* fix super+arrow keys
<fadenb> Was planning to only take the pbp with me as a real world test run
<samueldr> :)
<samueldr> it's also a bit of a nixos on arm real world usage
<samueldr> since you're going real-world, not sure if you were keeping up with the repo
<samueldr> suspend is not working
<samueldr> but if you pull, it at least makes it not break by using s2idle
<fadenb> Suspend issues I am aware of

<fadenb> Need to figure out how to avoid hitting power button all the time :p
<samueldr> the trick is having owned another laptop with the same power button location beforehand
<samueldr> though IIRC you could do something with logind to at least make the power button do nothing
<samueldr> HandlePowerKey to https://nixos.org/nixos/options.html#logind.extraconfig
