<colemickens> doesn't it just come with the rust from nixpkgs-mozilla?
<colemickens> and I use it with VSCodium (and hopefully in a few hours neovim)

<ekleog> hmm that's weird, when I tried taking the one from the rust from nixpkgs-mozilla, it made emacs fail, and `rust-analyzer diagnostics .` also reported being unable to find the rustc source code (which is the way I checked it probably wasn't due to emacs doing nonsense)
<ekleog> so the only way I found to make it work was taking the rust-analyzer from nixpkgs
<ekleog> maybe it's because I'm on latest nightly, and latest nightly is broken but latest beta works?

<arcnmx> the rustsrc tarballs changed again recently I think, could be that?
<ekleog> hmm that sounds likely, it started happening to me when I switched to the 2020-12-21 nightly or so (though my last bump of nightly was ~9 months ago and it didn't have rust-analyzer yet so may be something else)
