I am currently getting a static IPv6 from my ISP. But the provided IPv6 they should be giving me versus the one I am getting does not align. Not sure if I just don't know enough about IPv6 to understand. But ie. 1b00:4004:3536::/48, but I am getting something like 1b00:4000:42:0:ec4:7aff:feac:7792, which from my perspective does not match well. I would expect the first three parts to
<eyJhb>
match the first three parts of the IPv6 prefix I have gotten.

x-post from ##networking, if anyone have the time to help. The IP is somewhat masked, the first prefix is changed, and the last part is changed slightly

eyJhb: that might be an IA_NA and not an IA_PD lease that you are looking at?
<eyJhb>
andi-: I might not be requesting the IPv6/48 correctly, that is at least what my ISP told me. So I have to test later and see what I can get :p
<andi->
eyJhb: if you capture the DHCPv6 traffic I am happy to have a look at what is going on
<eyJhb>
So I might be switching to systemd networkd stuff
