<buovjaga> Do I understand it correctly that with U-boot 2018.3 we can build aarch64 images with qemu?
<Dezgeg> you mean boot them?
<buovjaga> ok maybe I misunderstood it completely :) Is it possible right now to build NixOS aarch64 images with qemu under any Linux host?
<Dezgeg> well you can boot the existing image in U-boot 2018.3 and build a new one there
<buovjaga> thanks, I'm very clueless about the .img build process
<buovjaga> it is absolutely fantastic that you are enabling all this :)

<arianvp> I talked to the sifive guys extensively this week
<arianvp> The IP is based on the reference implementation of RISC-V and the https://github.com/sifive/freedom platform
<arianvp> however this particular implementation is under NDA, because the Sifive unleashed contains IP of other companies in the ASIC
<arianvp> for example the RAM controller, Ethernet etc
<arianvp> So, you can't get the source code of the Unleashed unless you pay for the IP, however it is based on Freedom
<arianvp> They gave me a RISC-V manual :)
