Does anyone know of a fix for `OSError: AF_UNIX path too long` when installing Python packages? Specifically multiprocessing and python3.6-nose. I've seen it mentioned in issues, but no definite fix other than maybe disabling tests.

benschza: I think it might be because TMPDIR is quite long on macOS and unix socket paths have length limits

Mic92/sops-nix#15 (by antifuchs, 2 weeks ago, closed): Fix ssh-to-pgp tests on darwin by using /tmp

Thanks Mic92. So I'd probably need to make a PR against the Nix Python package to disable tests for macOS, or further upstream on the actual Python package.
