<qyliss> Wow, lots of mailing list traffic these past few days (relatively) :D
<qyliss> Think I've spent the past three hours responding to emails!

<MichaelRaskin> Hmm, I wonder if PV that Xen can boast is what was relevant in the old days before CPU-assisted virtualisation was expected on low-range laptops
<MichaelRaskin> When you need to fully manage VM from host side without CPU assistance — I remember Qemu having kqemu module back in the day to do this less inefficiently, and then Xen with specifically Xen-targeted domU kernels could do it better
<MichaelRaskin> I think this was a PV/HV split back in the day when I was actually using Xen VMs on an old-ish server.
<qyliss> I remember in Qubes I could choose between PV and... "HVM", I think?
<hyperfekt> DMARC seems to have failed for the ML messages from joweill@icloud.com?
<MichaelRaskin> HVM — hardware virtual machine — relies on CPU virtualisation support
<qyliss> I think the DMARC failures are a Mailman bug but haven't had a chance to look into it
<hyperfekt> qyliss: headers here: https://files.hyperfekt.net/w8NgVXFF.txt
<qyliss> Actually, there's nothing I could have really done about that one
<qyliss> Because they have a DMARC policy, but it's not DKIM-signed? Bizarre.
<qyliss> Nothing I can do about that
<qyliss> I suppose I could try setting up ARC. Not sure how widely implemented that is so far.

<tazjin> qyliss: I just noticed that the discuss emails from today ended up in my spam
<tazjin> ah, I see
<tazjin> that's already the topic :)
