<andi-> Just inline all of the units as Nix code. Be explicit about what we define. I think using upstream units is an anti-pattern on NixOS. It might mean that we have to convert them on every systemd release (tooling? :-)) but at least we are leaving this rabbit hole behind.
EDEF is now known as edef
aminechikhaoui8 is now known as aminechikhaoui

<flokli> andi-: so the problem here is that these units don't exist at build time
<flokli> it's a generator creating and activating them
<flokli> we'd need to drop some override.conf ahead of time, so the service picks up the right path
<flokli> that's the systemd-{make,grow}fs stuff
<flokli> and possibly homed too
<flokli> new daemon-idea: emojid

<{^_^}> flokli's karma got increased to 40
<lukegb> I just want emojictl update to get all the latest crustacean emoji or whatever
<flokli> lukegb: just rebuild noto-fonts-emoji for another time
<flokli> It's very good
