spent another morning trying to get a proper (reproducible nixy) way to install diesel and diesel_cli to continue mt endeavours into that direction.. I might as well write raw sql with a bunch of bash scripts at this rate of issues :/

finally some progress.. Took long enough and should never even have bothered using a flat filesystem for the data... I have a 600k file vs a 300MB filesystem layout for the same kind of information. Also there is now a proper query language...
