21:14 <cransom> hrm. the weirdest thing. i had hit and miss configs with ipv6 and prefix delegation before, and sat down and debugged it today. i have 2 vlans, 10/20 (wan/lan) and there are on eno1. when dhcpcd starts up, it removes the link local address from eno1.10 and sets it on eno1.20. then it goes to solicit a v6 address on eno1.10 but... it can't because there's no address available.

21:14 <cransom> and if you have debug enabled, it sits and spams journald as hard as it can until it gets throttled, and then does it some more.

21:15 <cransom> i give eno1.10 back some other made up link local address and up it comes.
