my server in the office keeps losing power occasionally and the bios refuses to boot with my usb kvm plugged in (super odd), so I've moved all critical services to the apu.2c4 router (primarily dns). I also have asterisk running on it that I'm playing with a little bit currently trying to get google voice to work for incoming/outgoing calls. Checked prometheus stats and load has barely pushed

0.5, CPU/mem barely changed.

now I think my wife will be much happier when we have brown outs and I don't have to boot the server, run nixops deploy, etc... for internet to work.

the only thing on the router that requires a manual nixops deploy after losing power is wireguard tunnels, which if they're down for a few hours, I really don't care.
