i think it would be better to update, i think it has changed since you write documentation on wiki
hmpffff has quit [Quit: My MacBook has gone to sleep. ZZZzzz…]
<genesis>
i tested with pip frida ;)
<Mic92>
Last time I used the wiki to update frida
<genesis>
anyway i can ignore segfault, but i could also fix them, there in a function that receive 0 as arg0 and put in rbx
<genesis>
then try to read [rbx + 0x40] , failed with rbx at 0, but i can intercept.replace() the instruction when arg0=0, but i donno if it makes sens
<genesis>
i'm not banned on the wiki yet, (on nixos-wiki yes)
<genesis>
so i could eventually update if i find some helpful info :)
<Mic92>
genesis: I think I remember what the problem is. The compiled frida and the target application need to use the same glibc version
<genesis>
hum
<genesis>
oki i missed that because that is not same error in latest version i test
hmpffff has joined #nixos-nur
<genesis>
(that doesn't segfault but play a message)
<Mic92>
updating frida-tools becomes harder
<Mic92>
It now needs frida-compile
<genesis>
yes and full of npm stuff.
