11:56 <Zurdo[m]> I mean, it feels as if the obvious way, if I want to depend, is to just uses the full path to the derivation (pkgs.nur.user.package IIRC?)

11:58 <Zurdo[m]> but, AFAICT, each package set in NUR is eval-tested independently, right? So one can be updated without the other, therefore one pkgset cannot block another from updating...?

17:46 <Mic92> zurdo: please don't do that. It could create hard to debug dependency cycle between different package sets. We have to wait for https://gist.github.com/edolstra/40da6e3a4d4ee8fd019395365e0772e7 first

17:46 <Mic92> zurdo: the workaround is to copy the package you need to your repository for the time beeing.

17:47 <Mic92> If many people depend on a single package it might be also a good indication that it should be part of nixpkgs instead.
