hmm. what could cause emacsclient --create-frame to have different behavior compared to just running emacs? for some reason the client frame width is larger than window width, ie. the icon at the end of my modeline is only partially visible

do you use desktop.el to restore windows? also compare initial-frame-alist and default-frame-alist

Anyone use the modus themes? `emacs-modus-themes-20210411.751` is broken on unstable.
