Only just started using it the other day, and not entirely sure how to word it: but is it normal for emacs to “replay” my undo buffer, so to speak?

Like I’ll undo all I’ve done so far, type something in, and then undo a few more times, and it’s replays everything. If I do it multiple times in succession, it might replay my undo buffer several times...

Heard about that. Just wasn’t sure how to word exactly what I was trying to solve / what might solve it. I suppose I could check out undo-tree and etc, regardless.
