<evanjs> Only just started using it the other day, and not entirely sure how to word it: but is it normal for emacs to “replay” my undo buffer, so to speak?
<adisbladis> evanjs: Yes, it's normal (I think I know what you mean)
<evanjs> Like I’ll undo all I’ve done so far, type something in, and then undo a few more times, and it’s replays everything. If I do it multiple times in succession, it might replay my undo buffer several times...
<evanjs> Is that part also normal?
<adisbladis> Yep
<evanjs> Bah. Any term for that I could search or way to customize that behavior?
<adisbladis> evanjs: I don't know.
<adisbladis> Though you may be interested in other interfaces on top of the undo system
<adisbladis> Like undo-tree
<adisbladis> evanjs: Tbh I remember this being confusing when I was new to emacs
<evanjs> Heard about that. Just wasn’t sure how to word exactly what I was trying to solve / what might solve it. I suppose I could check out undo-tree and etc, regardless.
<evanjs> Okay, I think this answers my question https://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/UndoTree
<evanjs> “... Emacs treats “undo” itself as just another editing action that can be undone.”
<evanjs> adisbladis: thanks for pointing me to the right place
<evanjs> Oh right, is there any special setup required for all-the-icons? Or is `M-x all-the-icons-install-fonts` required?
<evanjs> Mmkay, pretty sure it was just `config.fonts.fonts`, derp.
