<LnL> with my SRI changes merged should we enforce this in ofborg?
<gchristensen> probably yes
<LnL> I don't feel great about just patching it tho
<cole-h> I agree that it's not great, but neither is people committing SRI hashes (accidentally or otherwise) when they aren't supported in 2.0

<LnL> oef, there's more :/
<cole-h> More SRI hashes? :-(
<LnL> no, but base64 encoded
<cole-h> Oh
<cole-h> Still :-(

<LnL> stuff like this really makes me wish there where better apis to interact with nix on a low level
* LnL replaces every node package
<LnL> as for the patches, what do you thing about the idea of a nix20 feature flag or something?
<LnL> alternative is just using 2.0 but that's a bit awkward to build and I feel like the nicer error messages might be worth it
<gchristensen> +1
<LnL> downside is that there's potentially more of this stuff we didn't run into yet, which the former would catch
<LnL> actually, also feels like something that should probably be a more generally used
<LnL> like a proposal for flake a flake attribute which declares what nix version / builtins it depends on
<LnL> and perhaps having it evaluate in that compatibility mode
<LnL> this bash loop is so horribly inefficient :/
<LnL> 700 and counting :o
