<cransom>
sphalerite: osx and linux. a fair number of versions ago... i want to say .8?
<cransom>
i'll have to try again and see if i get something different
<gchristensen>
sphalerite: well, it was worth a try
<sphalerite>
cransom: I mean what kind of files?
<cransom>
mostly plaintextish looking. i was syncing my ~/bin and dot files
<sphalerite>
that kind of conflict is supposed to happen iff a file gets changed on two machines concurrently
<sphalerite>
that is, if it gets changed on machines A and the change isn't synced ot machine B before it's modified independently on machine B
<cransom>
those files never got many changes, but if it was long times between file update checks, that could have been the case. but i see that it now has inotify hooks for quicker syncs, so that may help out too.

<sphalerite>
yeah using syncthing-inotify should avoid that
<sphalerite>
I've never really had those kind of issues except when I very clearly caused them
<cransom>
i'm sure i caused them, it was just very unclear that i did so :)
