just a heads up, if you use libvirtd, you won't be able to access your existing machines anymore in 19.09 due to a qemu upgrade
<
gchristensen>
owww
<
gchristensen>
manveru: can you PR some release notes?
<
manveru>
i guess so... there's no solution for it yet (other than the patch i mentioned in #nixos-dev
<
gchristensen>
like, no solution other than don't upgrade to 19.09?
<
manveru>
i didn't investigate too much, just wiped the old images and did a fresh deploy
<
manveru>
but i guess that'd be pretty painful for some people that don't use them just for testing purposes
<
gchristensen>
a reboot didn't handle it?
<
manveru>
in my case they were shut down already
<
manveru>
i did a reboot into 19.09, and couldn't `nixops start` them anymore
<
gchristensen>
ouch.
<
manveru>
so, we could backport that patch, but i don't know enough about kernel stuff to know if that's a good idea :)
<
manveru>
plus it'd be a mass rebuild i'd imagine
<
manveru>
anw, off to lunch
