Though, it looks like it really does get stuck there every time. Weird!

It's a really weird place to get stuck, because it's between two printfs with only some variable twiddling going on inbetween.

Hmm, or hydra logs are line-buffered, maybe? That would open up the possibility it's stuck in the next check
